Hi, I am Carrie - and I’m so happy you’re here!

I am Carrie Ann Ball, a wildlife and events/sports photographer based in Indianapolis, Indiana. I’ve loved photography since I was young, and over the past several years it has become a true passion and a meaningful part of my life.

 I enjoy traveling to some of the most beautiful places in the country, including Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Great Smoky Mountains, Glacier National Park, Badlands National Park, Wind Cave National Park, and the stunning wilderness of Kodiak Island and Katmai National Park in Alaska. When I’m not traveling, I stay close to home exploring local and state parks, nature preserves, and — during football season — you can always find me under the Friday night lights.

 Carrie Ann Jordan Photography was founded in 2021. The name “Jordan” honors my maiden name, as well as my dad and my nephew, who passed away far too soon at the ages of 59 and 26. My dad loved nature, wildlife, and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed photography as a hobby and had a special love for eagles and hummingbirds. My nephew’s smile and personality were bright and contagious — and anytime my camera was out, he wanted to be in the photo.

 Their influence, love, and joy are woven into everything I create. Photography allows me to stay connected to them while doing something I truly love.
